Our site-specific objectives include:
1. Designing a system of ski trails, residences and lodging into a "white"-over the snow-transit system, ensuring that many visitors won ’t need a vehicle to access the mountain. 2. Designing a mountain village containing a mixture of activities and spaces. For example,locating restaurants where noon and afternoon sun is available and where there is sufficient ground area for outdoor patios and sun decks. 3. Linking residential areas by a valley trail system that encourages walking, roller blading and mountain biking as alternative modes of transportation. 4. Working with regional experts in wildlife biology, ornithology, and botany to use native vegetation in the creation of effective wildlife habitats among the private land developments. |
